Paul J Lorenz graduated from Yale University with a Master of Architecture degree. He also holds a Master of Fine Arts degree as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Studies from the University of Wisconsin.

While working with La Dallman Architects in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, works he has been involved with have won several awards at the state-wide level. Paul’s sculpture and installation work has focused primarily on digital fabrication and parametric design, and has been exhibited in galleries in Madison, Chicago, Beijing, and Lausanne. His current work will be featured in upcoming exhibitions in London and Athens.

Paul’s studio and course work at the Yale School of Architecture has been regularly selected for publication in Retrospecta, the annual journal of student work, and has recently been nominated for the RIBA President’s Silver Medal. In addition to numerous awards for his undergraduate work, Paul has recently been awarded the James Gamble Rogers Fellowship for exceptional design work and the AIA Henry Adams Certificate for the second-highest academic ranking. In addition to his work in the studio, Paul has been awarded teaching fellowships, focusing on courses involving digital computation and fabrication techniques.  Paul is a practicing architect in Philadelphia.
